What information do you need to obtain a certificate?

Full names, date and place of the event (birth, marriage, death), parents' names where relevant, any reference number you have, and a copy of your ID. Some offices also require a signed authorisation, which we prepare for you.

Can you retrieve documents for a deceased relative?

Yes, for example for an inheritance. Tell us your relationship to the person and the purpose; we explain which supporting documents are needed.

How long does it take?

It depends on the issuing office and on how old the record is. We give you a realistic estimate with the quote and keep you informed.
