Data we collect

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, details of your request and any documents you attach. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.

Why we use it

We use your data only to answer your request, prepare a quote and, if you instruct us, carry out the service (translation, certification, apostille, legalisation, document retrieval or interpreting). The legal basis is your request and the performance of a contract, and our legal obligations.

Who receives it

Your documents are handled by our staff and professional linguists bound by confidentiality, and, only where your procedure requires it, by notaries, public authorities, embassies and couriers. Our website and email are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland). We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to an order are deleted within 12 months. Documents and records relating to orders are kept for as long as necessary for the service and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@abc-offices.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office of Mauritius or your local supervisory authority.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS and form submissions are sent by encrypted connection to our mailbox. Please avoid sending documents through unsecured channels when possible.
