What services does ABC Translation offer in Mauritius?
Certified translation, apostille, embassy and consular legalisation, notary services (certified true copies, powers of attorney, affidavits), document retrieval from Mauritian registries, and interpreting – on site, by phone or by video.
Which languages do you work with?
English, French, Mauritian Creole and all major world languages, including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Urdu, Tamil, Chinese, Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and many more. Rare languages are available on request.
Do you serve all of Mauritius?
Yes. We work with clients in all nine districts – Port Louis, Plaines Wilhems, Pamplemousses, Rivière du Rempart, Flacq, Grand Port, Savanne, Moka and Black River – as well as Rodrigues and clients living abroad. Most work is done remotely, with courier for originals.
Why don't you publish prices?
Because every file is different: the price depends on the languages, the length and layout of the document, the deadline and the formalities required by the destination. We send a free, precise quote, usually after a quick look at your document.
How do I send my documents?
Use the contact form to attach scans or photos (PDF, JPG, PNG, Word), or email them. If originals are needed for an apostille or legalisation, we explain how to send them securely.
Are my documents kept confidential?
Yes. Your documents are used only to process your request, handled by bound-to-confidentiality linguists and staff, and never shared with third parties other than the authorities involved in your procedure.
Can you deliver urgently?
Often, yes. Tell us your deadline in the form; we will say honestly whether it is achievable, including for apostilles and legalisations that depend on public offices.
I live abroad. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Many of our clients are Mauritians abroad or foreigners with ties to Mauritius. We obtain, translate, apostille and send documents worldwide.
Will the authority accept your translation?
We check the requirements of the receiving authority before starting, and adapt the format (certified, sworn, notarised, apostilled or legalised) so that your translation is accepted.
